Welcome to the Delta Association of REALTORS®
The Purpose of the Delta Association of REALTORS® is to support and enhance the professionalism and success of our members.
In 1949, a small group of local Real Estate Brokers formed the Eastern Contra Costa Board of Realtors. The charter from the National Association of Real Estate Boards was dated August 23, 1949 and it gave the Brokers the right to call themselves REALTORS® and established the territory reaching from what is now Clayton in the southwest and Bay Point to the San Joaquin county line to the east.
During the past 60 years, the Eastern Contra Costa Board of REALTORS® has grown to over 900 members. Along the way, we changed our name to the Delta Association of REALTORS® and made a trade with an adjoining association to give them the area known as Clayton. Our members primarily come from Bay Point, Pittsburg, Antioch, Oakley, Brentwood, Bethel Island, Byron, Knightsen and Discovery Bay, although we have many members from other areas as well.
Our move to 3428 Hillcrest Avenue in October of 2008 has provided us with a spacious conference center to hold our various educational and social events.
As you will see on this website, we are actively involved in our communities, both as an association and as individual members. Welcome to the Delta Association of REALTORS®.
